Courtney is one of the 12 women featured in this year’s I Am Bombshell campaign. She’s the emotional light — deeply feeling, deeply loyal, and someone who’s learned to turn challenges into strength. Her story is about finding beauty in the mess, owning every part of herself, and learning to rise through it all.
Which part of B.O.M.B.S.H.E.L.L. do you relate to most right now, and why?
Opinionated. Beautiful. Sensitive. Humoured. Emotional. Loyal.
I am beautiful not just on the outside, but on the inside.
My sensitivity allows me to connect with others on a meaningful level. I embrace my emotions because they remind me that I’m alive. My loyalty is unwavering and I am always there for my friends and family.
Tell us a little more about yourself.
I feel that being sensitive and emotional makes me strong.
These traits remind me that life is beautiful and to embrace every moment and opportunity. I get to wake up every morning and experience a new day, with the highs and lows.
I have used the difficult situations in my life to make me stronger, to learn and to grow. I have learnt to embrace all that comes my way. I have turned tragedies into grateful moments and have learnt to love all parts of myself even those that we sometimes see as "flaws".
Strength for me is about lifting others up by being kind and supportive.
What does beauty mean to you at this stage of your life?
Beauty to me is about accepting who you are, your virtues and your flaws, growing through your lived experiences, and embracing that we are all perfect in our own way which gives you the most beautiful confidence.
Real beauty comes from within, in how you treat others, in the kindness you offer, and in the way you embrace life with open arms.
It is not only how good you feel on the outside but also how good you feel on the inside.
What does wellness look like for you — honestly?
Taking small steps to prioritize yourself. I try to eat foods that make me feel good, drink lots of water so I feel fresh and hydrated and of course drink my collagen powder everyday also try to walk as often as possible and am pushing myself to join Parkruns so I can take care of my body.
Why did you want to be part of the “I Am a B.O.M.B.S.H.E.L.L.” campaign?
I feel so inspired by my growth and acceptance of myself and I would love to help others feel the same

Bombshell has given me such a boost to my health and to my confidence.
